Incoming Class of 2013!

We are thrilled to see the line up of young people that God has called to FGBI to be a part of the Class of 2013. We have recieved a number of applications for this upcoming fall term, and they keep on coming! We arrived at Graduation day with 30 seniors eager to make their walk down the aisle to recieve their long awaited diplomas. This senior class was the largest group of graduates we have had since the mid 1990's.

The choir left yesterday for an 11 day choir tour beginning in Elkton VA, going all the way into Alabama and Mississippi. On April 9th and 10th they will be at Pentecostal Youth Fire Conference, where they will meet with several vans of students. Be sure to check out our booth!

Last week we had our 40th Annual Holiness Convention and saw God work in the lives of ministers, visiting laymen, and students. We were blessed to hear the anointing preaching of Rev. Michael Switzer, Rev. William Hill, and several visiting ministers with a tremendous touch of God on their lives.

Last week, President's & Dean's List were officially announced with a total of 33 students (10 President's List, 23 Dean's List) achieving the honors. Though "Dean's list" has always been a part of our program, "President's list" was introduced this year with the revision of our grading scale. To be on Dean's list a student must have a GPA of at least 3.2 in every class, and have excellent conduct and adaptibility. To achieve the highest honor of President's list, students must have excellent conduct and adaptibility, as well as a GPA of at least 3.5 in every subject.
